November and December Newsletter

Christmas is now only a few weeks away and indeed London, Brussels and Paris are as busy as ever.

The Anglo-Belgian Community will be present on the 6th November at Westminster Abbey at 6pm for the reenactment of the Torch Kindling Ceremony that has been carried ever since after the second World War to link our two countries in a symbolic and moving gesture.

On the 9th November is

  • Flanders remember, by invitation from the Flanders Representative.
  • My good friend Nicholas Ellis and his Camarilla Ensemble are having their debut at the Wigmore Hall www.mondayplatform.org.uk The Arts Club Charitable Trust, which I have the honour to be the Chairman, (www.acct.blogspot.com) supported the Ensemble since its inception in 1998 at the Royal Academy of Music.
  • the 20th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Festival of Freedom is a free event and my partners in Berlin are offering various other events, please ask Stephan Ullerup at Quality Travel and mention my name for best attention, they are also offering packages for the Christmas market in Vienna and other town both in Germany and Austria. On the 10th November

On Friday 13th November, The Eponymous Eccentric Club will host its annual dinner of the date. Http://eccentricdinner.eventbrite.com and on the day of King’s Day. The 15th, my God-Daughter, Noemie, is 20!

On the 18th November France vs Ireland Play-off for the World Cup 2010 with packages starting at € 300 with hospitality at 100 meter of the Stade de France to official VIP within the Stadium prestige or box seats, ask me for information

On the 19th November, the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce organises the Golden Bridge Awards, please let me know should you wish to have details.

On the 26th will see the convivial eccentric club drink http://eccentricdrink.eventbrite.com and on the 29th the Eccentric Club will see the Snooker Tournament that will take place at the Savile Club with other Clubs representatives (members only).

In December, the first is

On the 2nd the EIBTM kicks on in Barcelona, the 3rd The Camarilla Ensemble will be at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in the frame of Hospital Arts at 1pm, the 4th is Eddie Izzard in Wembley

On the 5th

  • Circa is back again this time in Chelsea, Fulham Road at the Queen’s Elm Gallery in Fulham Road with many surprises.

On the 16th, Rio Ferdinand live the Dream Foundation launches at Old Billingsgate with an opening by Prime Minister Gordon Brown and guests include: Robbie Williams, David Furnish, James Corden (Gavin & Stacey) Top Premiership Players from Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and England colleagues, Frank Lampart and a who’s who of stars from TV/Soap Stars, Fashion, Film, Music, … your chance to rub shoulders with a galaxy of stars at the sames time as supporting the foundation.
