Nearly half way through the first quarter of the year!
Sorry I have not updated this for some time now!
The reason was that I was actually asked to apply for a job that would have prevented me to do anything else but as luck would have it, I did not get it.
Luck as on reflection I am much better off by continuing enjoying myself and passing it on to you! So you are actually benefitting from it.
This said, please do remember that I am here for any events that you may have now or in the future.
I invite you to join my Networks on which there is a link on my website.
See The Network & GPN .
There is a minimum subscription of £1 pcm on a recurring basis.
I will update events there and there may be the occasional direct email if I feel that you would benefit from this particular event.
I am an artist (painter) and do PR, Marketing, off market properties & Events. I love people, life and arts. Always looking on the bright side of life and love to meet people and have fun.
I very much look forward to seeing you again or meeting you soon.
All best wishes,
Jean-Francois.
PS: as this is lent at the moment I just remembered that dear old Bill who passed away several years ago used to give up Angostura Bitter for Lent, he was very fond of his pink gin...

October, November & December 2012
The leaves are starting to change colours, autumn is upon us and with it
the prospect of Christmas (let me know if you need help with your party).
It is getting colder so wrap up warm and live healthily. I'd like to introduce you to Kyäni, a health product made with natural ingredients from Alaska providing you with a combination of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and more, if you would like to know about it, come to a presentation and have a taste, this happens every Tuesdays in Chelsea. Please ask me for an invitation.
September was rather quiet in London, it seems that post Olympics, not many people wanted to go out, however I manage to award a price for the Arts Club Charitable Trust at the Mall Galleries for an excellent print made by Julia Gallego, heard Gareth Thomas about his struggle with coming out in the world of rugby, seen Thomas Houseago's great sculpture at Hauser Wirth in Savile Row, was invited for dinner at the Waldorf Hilton by a dear friend, met another one on the Terrace of the House of Lords, seen Julia Hamilton's work in her MA Fine Arts show, drunk Champagne at St Pancras courtesy of Q Hotel, seen Ilia Petrovic's 'Silent Dreams' exhibition a the Alpha Gallery, went to Global Pursuit at the Grosvenor House, seen 100% design, attended the private view of Neil Canning at the ING head office, had a great dinner at the Eccentric Club with a lot of friends, discovered Bel Canto restaurant on the edge of Hyde Park where all most of the waiting staff are opera singers, went to Internations at the Roof Garden and drunk the most expensive glass of Chardonnay at the Corinthia Hotel...
October started, we had a very successful exhibition at the New Cavendish Club at the beginning of October called Kaleidoscope as all artists were of different nationalities, media and style and this included me... I went to the launch of the Beaufort House Club, had a haircut by Sergio Gianasso in St Martin's Lane (let me know what you think about it when we see each others), seen Philip Firsov's exhibition in Warren Street & Gerry Fox's at the Gallery Eleven on Eccleston Street, I went to the launch of Kyani in London see above and went back to Bel Canto to sample the delights (both culinary and auditory), I also had the honour to attend the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation's Award Ceremony at the Science Museum in His Presence and the launch of a book in a Tattoo Parlour where people were in various state of dress and undress...
I would like to invite you to visit my website and look under current events but also please feel free to browse through and give me feedback.

September's Event and Newsletter
Hello everyone,
I do hope that you enjoyed your holidays and the Olympic Games!
September is upon us and with this, school run, back to work and more
opportunities to meet people and get to really know them. The numbers of
opportunities that I can offer you are now 10 this month.
Some events are at Pause in the City of London, others are at the Chesterfield Mayfair, more are in the Kensington Hotel and another at The Penthouse in Leicester Square.
Some events are at Pause in the City of London, others are at the Chesterfield Mayfair, more are in the Kensington Hotel and another at The Penthouse in Leicester Square.
In August, I was invited to view the Olympic Park and was interviewed by the Belgian Radio prompting a long lost cousin to email me (thank you Google!) I went to the Hippodrome re-launch in Leicester Square met a few very nice people along the way. With the Eccentric Club, we were interviewed by NBC and this was actually quite jolly see this here. I attended a fashion show with fashion TV at Embassy Mayfair, met an accountant that actually save you money when you buy your next house, seen my specialist who gave me clean bill of health at last, nearly sold a Banksy to a collector abroad, attended the Vienna swimmers Olympic party, met a rather nice French author who lives in Brussels and writes in English, and possibly more.
Here is the list for September, click on the title to RSVP and more info and on the Venue for a link to their website:
I very much look forward to seeing you at these events!
Yours ever,
Jean-Francois.

Do you know Pause? Well, if you don’t, in August, I’ll give you some reasons to go and discover that venue!
On July 3rd,
we went to the roof of the Grange Hotel to celebrate the relaunching of
the magazine Pride Life. Nice people, nice cocktails and a nice atmosphere were
at the rendez-vous.
In August, The GPN and Le Cercle Francophone are going to be at The Penthouse. The other events will be at Pause.
Jean-Francois.
Le Cercle Francophone,
The Network,
and The
Network Dinner were held at The Penthouse.
If you need a venue in Central London that
combines beautiful cocktails, a stunning view and tasty dishes, then you have
to go there.
We went to
the World
Pride on July 7th. We walked through Baker Street , Oxford
Street, Regent Street
and Haymarket to finish at the Whitehall .
Positive
East, we’ve got your back!
The GPN was
at The Royal
Park Hotel. We were about 30 people to discover this place and
we really enjoyed it. Laurent Boutonne, the General Manager, introduced his
venue and people were able to visit the hotel. It was free champagne and
cocktails all evening....
In August, The GPN and Le Cercle Francophone are going to be at The Penthouse. The other events will be at Pause.
Here is the list:
I very much
look forward to seeing you at these events!
Yours ever,
Jean-Francois.

Dear month of July, like every year we are expecting from you to bring us the sun and a nice weather so we can go to the Penthouse…
Last month, Les
Belges de Londres and The Network took place at the Penthouse in Leicester
Square respectively on June 5th and 7th. Everybody enjoyed their drinks and the
views from this beautiful
venue.
We went to
the amazing exhibition of Ruth Macdonald’s
painting, in her beautiful house in
Regent's Park on June 13th.
The G P N was held in
the Glass House of the Holiday
Inn in Camden Town, a really nice place with stunning
views on the Locks, their hospitality were simply, exceptional.
I have
attended the Russian Summer Ball on June 16th at the Banqueting
House to celebrate both the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the 200th anniversary
of the Patriotic War of Russia. It was an eccentric
night with ballroom and gipsy dancing,
vodka and Champagne
with all the Great and the Good of the Russian Society.
On July 14th
at the Beauberry House, I’ll be attending a very special event: The Fall Of Rome. It’s a
celebration of ancient Rome. The guests dress as centurions, gladiators,
Emperors and Empresses and are treated to an ancient Roman feast, fun and
festivities. You can learn more about this event and also RSVP on the website: http://www.fallofrome.co.uk/.
Also, I
would like to say a word about these incredible artists: Les oiseaux
du Paradis. It’s the only 360° aerial ballet of its kind.
Marketing campaigns, weddings, social events, you can book these artists for
every kind of manifestations. Please have a look on their page and feel free to
contact them. They are truly amazing! Here is their
website: Les
oiseaux du Paradis.
In July, all
of our events will take place at the Penthouse except the GPN which will be
held at The Royal
Park. You can
already book your ticket:
ü
Les Belges de Londres (for all
the Anglo-Belgian community) (July 3rd RSVP here : http://lesbelgesdelondres.eventbrite.co.uk/)
Some
informations about August: Les Belges de Londres (August 7th), The GPN Dinner
(August 8th), The Network (August 9th) and The Network Dinner (August 23rd)
will be at Pause.
In September, We’ll launch four new events at
The Chesterfield:
ü The
Eastern Society (September 25th )
Please pass on the words and invite your contacts and
friends to make meaningful business and social relationships
I very much look forward to seeing you at these
events!
Yours ever,
Jean-Francois.

If a June night could talk, it would probably boast it invented romance
The month of
May is about to end giving us a nice, pleasant and lovely weather. I guess June
will begin the same way and will allow us to enjoy the forthcoming beginning of
the summer!
This
month, I have attended various events and also met different people.
I
was really impressed by Andrew Logan’s exhibition which took place in his own studio
to support the Arts Club Charitable
Trust. We were overwhelmed by the creativity
and the space. What an artist!
On
the 10th of May, I attended Robbie Wraith private view at Messum in
Cork Street and went to listen to Christophe
Hespel, what a voice.
We
went to the North East London Business Exposition in the Emirates Stadium and
also attended the Diplomatical Fair on May 15th. We enjoyed food
from everywhere in the world (Brasil, Russia, China and Indonesia) and tasted
some lovely and tasty cocktail from Cuba, Brasil and Mexico amongst others...
The
Network took place at the Eccleston
Square Hotel and the next will be on June 7th at the Penthouse. Save the date and
RSVP by clicking on the following link: the network.
The
GPN was at the Chinawhite club and we
had a great talk by Harold
Finley about his new play about the relationship between Jean-Michel
Basquiat, Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. We’ll
definitely have to see it.
Will
Pike and Tony Sellimi introduced the
Velvet Journey: a company which provides personal development and well-being services for gay men.
The
next GPN will be at the Penthouse at
the Holiday Inn Camden on the June 14th. Save this date and RSVP
here.

Circle, The Eastern Society and The Chinese Connection soon.
I very much look forward to seeing you at one, two
or even all of these events!
Yours ever,
Jean Francois.

In May, do as you please...
In
May, do as you please... "en mai fait ce qu'il te plait" -an old
French saying meaning that when the weather is improving (it should do) we can
go out and enjoy ourselves.... Please
click on the highlighted words for more information and RSVP.
In
March I met with various people involved in properties and financial services. I
attended various opening of galleries and was impressed by the Stern Fine Arts in Albermale Street
and the Olivier Dassault exhibition at the Opera Gallery.
The Network was at Mahiki in
March, Après in April and will be at the Eccleston Square Hotel on the 16th May,
save the date! This is the Network with a
difference.
There
will also be a more intimate dinner on the 22nd May
An Agreeable Society for
those involved or with an interest in the Arts will meet on the 23rd May at the
Royal Institution of Great Britain.
Rachel Elbaz presented her new delightful
collection in her Knightsbridge boutique.
GPN was held at the Royal Aeronautical Society in March and
in April at the Foundry in Camden,
the next one is on the 17th May at
Chinawhite with Harold Findley talking about his
new play about the relationship between Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Andy
Warhol. GPN also held its first dinner
which was a Taittinger Champagne dinner, the next one is on the 29th May at the Eccleston Square Hotel.
I
met with people from the Royal Academy of Music
with regard to institute an award in memory of Robert Tear CBE for the Arts Club Charitable Trust and visited the
beautiful studio and home of Ruth Macdonald
in Regents Park where an exclusive private view
will be held on the 13th June, save
the date.
I
also attended Polari
for the first time with Paul Burston as the
MC.
The
highlight must have been the Eccentric Dinner with
HRH Prince Philip who was in good form as when I toasted him replied "
I feel better already". The following month we elected the most eccentric people in United Kingdom.
Do look at the website.
This
month we had a fantastic evening showcasing the artistry and the French Haute
Joaillerie of Zoraste and Marchak. I was like a little boy in a sweet
shop with fascinating stones and the
wonderful craftsmanship of the best atelier in the world.
I
very much look forward to seeing you again and to welcoming you at one of these
events.
Yours
ever,
Jean-Francois.
