June Onwards

Chers Amis,

The Season is now well under way and I hope that you are enjoying dressing up and the lovely sunshine, if it isn’t out there today, have some inside!

Please support the Ensemble Serse next Wednesday at the Savile Club. They need to raise a significant amount of money for their opera in September (listed below) and if you, your company or someone you know can sponsor them please get in touch with me, there will be a national media interest. http://ensembleserse.com/

It is also important now to let me know if you are joining us in Brussels at the end of June, we might not be able to go to the Cercle Gaulois as they insist on a minimum number but have no fear as I have another exclusive Club in tow.

For those of you who will be at Ascot, I shall be there on Tuesday and Wednesday and look forward to seeing you there.

Ladies and Gentlemen who want some introspection, I recommend this Esoteric Yoga workshop at Pushin House on the day of my birthday! For the Gentlemen who want to get in shape for the summer, I am getting there myself, Mario Prevost at the Fit Box will sort you out http://fitbox.blogspot.com

Please do book also now for the events in July (Longleat) and August (Clarence House) as both require 2 months notice, Buckingham Palace is filling up in September.

Dear Friends,

Some of you expressed disappointment that I cannot now organise an evening private view of the exhibition: Victoria and Albert at the Queen’s Gallery. Due to the strict limits of Buckingham Palace and security it has to be organised well in advance. I wish to point out the events in August at Clarence House and September at Buckingham Palace that bookings must be made at least two months in advance so please book as soon as you can for these exceptional events. The visits to the Garrick Club in May are nearly full so please again book fast for those two days.

As the end of the tax year approaches, you need to ensure you maximise the tax-efficient allowances available to you. An ISA (Individual savings account) remains one of the most tax-efficient methods of investing, but if your full allowance is not used within the tax year, this valuable opportunity is lost for good. With the increased ISA limit of £10,200 available next tax year (or during this tax year for investors aged 50 and over), there is even more reason not to miss this opportunity. Remember, the sooner you invest, the more time your investment has for growth. I also have an opportunity for someone to finance a Jackie Chan’s movie, please let me know if of interest.

With the Social Calendar starting to fill up, please let me know if you require any further information for any of the above or any other social and sporting events that you might like to attend such as Chelsea Flower Show, Ascot, Cartier Polo Tournament, Rugby …

With Easter at our doorstep, may I wish you and your family a very happy celebration.

I very much look forward to seeing you again soon

Yours ever,

Jean-François.
