Tuesday 9^th , I intend to visit the Art and Antique Fair on before saying thank you to Jacques Delacave for his outstanding service on the board of the RABC.

Thursday 11^th , I will attend the Wine Society’s AGM but seems that at the same time Movenpick is opening its Defina flagship so will have to share myself again.

Saturday 13th I will attend a concert celebrating Mendelssohn Bicentenary given by Santiago Mantas at the Rosslyn Hill Chapel in Hampstead. Tickets at the door start at 7:30 pm call 02077310010 for details

Tuesday 16^th Ascot starts again and no doubt all the little parties in the car parks before the racing begin. (In fact that really is where the real races are held against the clock!)

Thursday 18^th I will turn 45 and will go for a week in Bournemouth where my parents will join me.

Saturday 11^th

• Belgium celebrates the 75^th anniversary of the Cenotaphe Ceremony in Whitehall and Belgian people will receive notification nearer the time of the very important visit we may have.
• London Bridge celebrates its 800^th anniversary and the Marketors will enjoy a day of festivities in the City dressed in Medieval costume. On the 17^th will be a joint fundraising for HIV and the Arts at the Arts Club, likely price will be £ 15.00 minimum donations for drinks and canapés.

Friday 17^th will be a fundraising for HIV people and their friends who would like to socialise in an informal manner, please apply to me £ 20.00 per person to include wine and canapés. There will be a silent auction with fantastic prizes.

Tuesday 28^th The Worshipful Company of Marketors will host a banquet at the Mansion House.

Thursday 30^th Rhian Powell marries Alan Doyle so will be in Wales for some days.

• The Arts Club Charitable Trust raised £ 12, 950 shared with the Artists donating and thank you on behalf of the Trust to all who attended purchased and donated these fantastic paintings and prints for the Artist’ Soirée.

Wednesday 6^th May, Emmanuel Ray, flamboyant as ever is hosting an evening at Kumo in Beauchamp Place, Knightsbridge, £ 5 entry to cover his drinks ;-) from 7 pm. Socialite Evenings is a monthly networking event recently launched and hosted by London-based Presenter & Socialite Emmanuel Ray. The event takes place at Kumo Knightsbridge on the first Wednesday of every month. The Socialites are a mixed group of people including fabulous fashionistas, successful professionals, distinguished ladies and gentlemen, eccentric artists, entrepreneurs, influential writers, designers, models, media people, beauty therapists, make up artists, trendy youngsters and many other interesting characters! Monday 18^th May is the Artists Soiree/Auction/Excellence in Drawing Awards

This annual gathering of artists, art dealers, critics and members goes fr

om strength to strength. The evening opens with a Champagne reception followed by dinner during which a presentation of prizes to the ‘Excellence in Drawing’ prize-winners followed by an auction in aid of The Arts Club Charitable Trust of which I am the chairman.

The evening is presided over by The Arts Club’s President, Sir Peter Blake and Inge Borg-Scott is organising an excellent collection of works

for sale. This is an excellent opportunity for people to acquire original and valuable works of art and to meet their creators at the same time.

Dear Friends,

As some of you might know, I have not been well last year and have been recovering since, thus my silence on the 'net'. I am pleased to say that I am now at 95% better and starting to collate meetings and events for the future.

Updates

Dear All,

Hope you are doing well, I am getting better by the day although not fully restored but nearly! Here is a picture of me taken at the Arts CLub, not so long ago.



As I am starting to go and see people, I have been nearly chastised for not sending news of what is happening around. (even though I am not organising the events myself!)

Well, Wendy Harman is the Chair of the Originals prints and they have a very special private view with Sir Peter, Lady and Rosy Blake next Monday 16th February, tickets are very reasonable at £ 35 pp to include Champagne and Buffet. Please call Chris Drake for ticket purchase on 020 8699 5574. Do mention my name as this is an exclusive evening.

Tomorrow on the 10th February, Mary another Belgian Chocolate Maker opens officially at the Westfield Shopping Centre and the Ambassador and people from the Anglo-Belgian Community will attend at the same time Danusha Fine Arts in Shepherd's Market opens its new exbition and the Business Travel Show starts at Earl's Court.

on the 12th I see my surgeon and there are some African dances in the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital lobby. In the evening I will attend a private screening of Milk and if I can will go the Salon Prive at the Hurlingham Club.

On the 18th Ken Howard is showing at Richard Green (147 Bond Street) and will be present during the day, I look forward to seeing him again and hopefully Vera too.

on the 19th at noon Griff Rhys Jones opens the 20/21 International Art Fair at the RCA and I think that I am due at the Westbury in the evening.

The London Fashion Week starts on the 20th till the 24th and various events will happen.

On the 23rd Michael Winner speaks to the Rotary Club of London and good God, I am reading my diary here!

24th is Shrove Tuesday and there is the usual Pancake Races across the City and wold recommend the one at Guildhall,starts at noon.

There are various show that will not interest you but one event that I will attract your attention is another exclusive event for Children with Autism on the 26th February in Central London. Various work of Arts will be auctioned by Christie's Chairman, do let me know if you would like to join me on this one as this is by invitation only and it is hoped that you will invest in one or more work of Art. All proceed to Charity.`

Season's Greetings

Dear Friends, Colleagues and Esteemed Clients,

Season's Greeting and best wishes for a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.

I am still gathering my strength and will return at the beginning of February fit and ready with more to do and go.

In 2009, this will be 30 years that I have been involved in the Hospitality, Events and Charity Sector in the field of general management, public relations and marketing.

I have organised and created events, campaigns and fundraisings with and for Crowned Heads of Europe, Ministers, Tycoons, CEO's, Blue Chip Compagnies and Celebrities.

Always discrete, persistent, consistent and with the attention to detail that makes you ask for me time again, you know that I make it happen and that I get people together.

Locations have been varied in countries and places and included Royal Palaces to Dairies passing through hotels, theatres, museums,music-halls,planes, yachts and some unusual and even unheard of.

Thank you to all who have helped me along the route.

Here to another 30 years!

Getter better

I am glad to say that I am getting much better now and that I have gained some weight this week. So much so that I will now start to look at my calories intake! Not quite but to be considered. All well ,I will be fit again by the end of January/beginning of February.
